Macintosh Software

Pixx'r

Pixx'r v1.0b is a freeware file information utility for the Macintosh.

The commercial version of Pixx'r is called Grafyxx, to be released in Spring 1996.

Pixx'r is a small, fast utility for getting information on EPS, EPS-DCS, TIFF, and PICT graphic files. The image itself is not shown, just information regarding image and color type, its size in KB, and its size in pixels.

Using Pixx'r is faster than opening images themselves in Adobe Photoshop, since Pixx'r can display information on a 50-mb file as quickly as it does a 10-kb file.

Pixx'r is in the directory /software/mac/Pixx:d5r 1.0:a7 folder on the CD-ROM. Pixx'r is from Anagrafyxx Software.
