Sparkle

Sparkle v2.4.5 is a freeware viewer for the Macintosh.

Sparkle is an MPEG player. It can open multiple files at one time and uses the QuickTime movie controller to control MPEG viewing. Code to play back MPEG files is built into QuickTime 2.2. That version of QuickTime provides faster and more powerful MPEG capabilities than those currently available through Sparkle.

Note: The PowerMac native version requires System 7.5 and Sound Manager 3.1.

Sparkle is in the directory /software/mac/Sparkle 2.4.5 on the CD-ROM. Sparkle is from Maynard Handley.
